Process

How a minor plumbing visit goes.

  1. 1

    Shut off and drain

Close the supply, drain the line, protect the cabinet floor with a tarp.

  2. 2

    Remove the old fixture

Disconnect supply and drain, lift out the old fixture, inspect what's behind it for corrosion or leaks.

  3. 3

    Install the new fixture

Set the fixture, connect supply and drain, tighten to spec — not over-tightened (cracks the porcelain).

  4. 4

    Test and clean

Turn the supply back on, run water for 5 minutes, check every connection for drips, clean up.

Frequently asked questions

Are you a licensed plumber?
We handle fixture-level plumbing that doesn't require a plumbing license. Main-line sewer work, gas lines, water heaters, and re-piping go to a licensed plumber, and we'll refer you if your job crosses that line.
What plumbing work do you NOT do?
No main-line sewer work, no gas lines, no water heater install, no whole-house re-piping, no permitted work. If a job needs a licensed plumber, we'll tell you up front.
Do you charge by the hour or flat rate?
Most fixture swaps are flat rate — you know the price before we start. Diagnostic work and oddball repairs run hourly so you only pay for the time the job actually takes.
Can you fix a leak in an emergency?
If it's a fixture-level leak — supply line, faucet, toilet — call us and we'll try to get out same-day. If it's a pipe behind a wall or in the slab, that's a licensed plumber emergency call.
My drain is slow. Can you fix it?
Yes for sink, tub, and toilet drains where the clog is in the trap or first 6 feet. We snake the line and clear it. If the clog is deeper or the main line is backing up, that's a sewer-line job for a licensed plumber.
Do you supply the fixtures?
Your choice. You can buy what you want and we install it, or we'll pick it up for you. Either way, the labor price is the same.
