Frequently asked questions
Can you do a bath remodel in a week?
A proper full remodel with real waterproofing takes 3–6 weeks because of wait times on tile mortar, inspection scheduling, and grout cure. The one-week bath ads you see on TV are surface overlays, not real remodels.
Do you handle aging-in-place design?
Yes — curbless showers, grab bar blocking, comfort-height toilets, bench seats. The design work is included in the estimate.
What's included in a full bathroom remodel?
Demo, waterproofing, tile, vanity, toilet, fixtures, lighting, paint, and hardware. Basically everything from the studs in. Plumbing and electrical rough-in are coordinated through our licensed subs.
Do bathroom remodels need permits?
If we're moving plumbing or adding circuits, yes. A like-for-like refresh — new tile, vanity, and fixtures in the same locations — typically doesn't require a permit in most Northern IL municipalities.
What's the process from start to finish?
Free in-home estimate, then a written proposal with selections locked in before demo starts. We handle demo, waterproofing, rough-in, tile, and finish work in sequence. Inspections happen at the rough-in stage before anything gets closed up.
