TV Mounting & Wall Hanging in Crystal Lake, IL — TVs, Pictures, Shelves, Floating Mounts

Free estimates based on the wall, mount, load, and cord-routing scope.

We mount TVs into studs whenever possible. If there is no stud where you want it, we will tell you before drilling and use only hardware rated for the wall and load. We can install a surface raceway and route accessible low-voltage cables. Outlet relocation, branch wiring, and in-wall power work go to a licensed electrician.

Process

How a tv mounting & wall hanging visit goes.

  1. 1

    Stud-find and layout

Find the studs, mark the mount position, dry-fit before drilling.

  2. 2

    Mount

Drill, anchor, level, torque the bolts. We use a torpedo level on every screw line.

  3. 3

    Cord routing

Fit and level a surface raceway, separate signal cables where needed, and leave power work to a licensed electrician.

  4. 4

    Test and clean

Power on, check the picture, vacuum the drywall dust, take the packaging.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to buy the mount first?
Your choice. You can buy whatever you want and we'll install it, or we can pick it up for you. The labor is the same either way.
What if my wall is plaster or concrete?
We handle both. Plaster needs toggle bolts or backing plates. Concrete needs a hammer drill and sleeve anchors. We bring the right fasteners for the wall type — just tell us when you call.
How long does a TV mount take?
A standard TV mount on a stud is about 45 minutes. Add cord concealment and it's 90 minutes. Most TV mount calls are done in under 2 hours.
Can you hide the power cord in the wall?
We do not place a TV’s detachable power cord inside the wall or perform branch-circuit wiring. We can install a clean, paintable surface raceway. If you want a receptacle or listed in-wall power solution, that portion goes to a licensed electrician.
Will you mount on a brick fireplace?
Yes, but check first that you actually want the TV that high. Mounting above a fireplace usually puts the screen 8–10 inches above eye level, and the heat shortens the TV's life. We'll tell you if there's a better spot.
Do you clean up after the install?
Always. We vacuum the drill dust, wipe down surfaces, and take our packaging with us.
