All estimates provided through this site — whether by phone, online form, or in-home walkthrough — are free and non-binding. No work begins until both parties sign a written contract or work order that specifies scope, price, and timeline.

Pricing

Prices displayed on this website are illustrative and based on typical project scopes. Your actual project price depends on specific conditions including scope of work, materials selected, site access, and any unforeseen conditions discovered during the job. The price in your signed contract is the binding price.

Scheduling and cancellations

We make every effort to keep scheduled appointments. If we need to reschedule, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer the next available time. You may cancel or reschedule a service appointment with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge.

Warranties and workmanship

We stand behind our work. Specific warranty terms — including duration and what is covered — are included in your signed contract. Manufacturer warranties on materials and fixtures are passed through to you as the homeowner. If something we installed or repaired fails due to our workmanship, contact us and we will make it right.

Licensing and insurance

Built Solid Home Services is fully licensed and insured for handyman and remodeling work in the State of Illinois and the State of Wisconsin. Proof of insurance and applicable licenses are available on request before any project begins.
