Should I upgrade to GFCI outlets?
If you have standard outlets within 6 feet of a water source — kitchen counter, bathroom vanity, laundry, exterior, garage — yes. Code requires GFCI there and it's a real safety upgrade.
Can you add USB outlets?
Yes. USB-A and USB-C combo outlets drop right into the existing box. No new wiring needed.
